Lewis wanted to become an architect after becoming inspired by the Gaudi architecture in Barcelona in his teenage years. He completed his Part 1 architecture studies at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, and went on to gain his Part 2 Professional Diploma in Architecture and the Centre for Alternative Technology, in Machynlleth Mid Wales and has a gained a strong grounding in sustainable architecture as a result of this unique experience. Lewi has now completed his part 3 qualification after studying for an Advanced Diploma with the RIBA at Chester University. 

Since joining the team at Richard Andrews Architects, around 10 years ago, Lewis has worked on the competition winning entry for the waterfront activities centre at Barry, Pwynt Hwylio. He has also produced detailed drawings for doctors surgery schemes, large schemes and worked on a number of new houses and residential extensions. More recently he was the lead designer on the Elmbridge Court office development project, delivering over 4000m2 of  modern office space and meeting the BREEAM Environmental standards.
