We helped our client to design and obtain planning permission for the extensive refurbishment and two storey rear extension of a bungalow located in the Pontypool area. The main challenges of the project were making the house accessible for our client who lives with disabilities and implementing the design with accessible elements, such as spacious open plan rooms, wide door thresholds and wheelchair accessible wet room. The house was fully upgraded to current building standards and benefits of modern features like large bi-fold doors in the open plan kitchen extension and glazed gable end in the master bedroom that create internal spaces flooded with natural light.
