The scheme aims to provide 30 new bedrooms to the nursing home along with breathing new life into the establishment by providing a new, larger office and ancillary building to serve the main building. In addition to more beds, the new building will provide two new spacious communal lounges, an additional kitchen and dining area, and an outdoor communal courtyard garden area to
tie the existing and new buildings together and create a community feel. The new ancillary / office building will provide additional laundry rooms, workshops, and larger, more function office spaces to
replace the existing offices and laundry buildings which will be removed. Finally, the new scheme also incorporates the provision of a reworked carpark, in addition to an additional carparking area, which will bring the overall number of spaces provided to 30.
