This Listed cottage in Monmouthshire is currently undergoing sensitive renovation and extension works. Our clients are passionate about restoring this charming home to its former glory, breathing new life into a property rich with history.
The cottage has been carefully stripped back, revealing some remarkable original features, including a beautifully preserved bread oven hidden within the old fireplace — a rare and special find that adds to the character of the building.
Work on the extension is progressing well and will provide much-needed additional living space. The design has been developed to remain sympathetic to the cottage’s historical character, ensuring that any new interventions complement rather than compete with the original structure.
