Back in 2021, we were appointed to support the transformation of an office building within the conservation area of Llandaff into a high-quality residential development of 9 flats.
Working within a sensitive historic setting always brings its own challenges, requiring a careful balance between preserving character and enabling a viable new use. Our role focused on guiding the project through the initial planning process, ensuring the proposals respected the surrounding context while meeting modern living standards.
Although our involvement concluded at the planning stage, it’s fantastic to see the project now fully realised. The completed scheme is a great example of how thoughtful design and planning can successfully breathe new life into existing buildings.
