Comprising of an estate with farmland, quarrying sand material, listed guest house and a few private houses we entrusted with the task of creating a 200 person events centre built into the earth bank below Groomes Guest House. The scheme was to be one giant creatively lit hall to allow any event be it Tradeshow, Music Venue, Wedding or Showroom. Introducing curves to soften and forming a good accessible road in from Farnham, Guildford and Borden the design encompassed all you needed to have a allowably busy creative venue. Boasting large hall, mezzanine balcony internal and external, WC’s large bar area, large commercial kitchen and back of house offices and plant room. We designed with Atal UK a large sedum roof over the top blending with the grass banks. All in all the scheme got to Building Detailing stages and it remains on hold today.
