This Grade II listed building carries with it a rich architectural legacy — one we aimed to honour through a thoughtful blend of restoration and contemporary design.

Our vision was to celebrate the building’s historic character while introducing modern elements that respectfully contrast with the original fabric. By clearly distinguishing the old from the new, we’ve created a harmonious dialogue between past and present.

Working closely with the local planning department, we developed detailed proposals for key features including windows, roof intersections, and material finishes. Every element was carefully considered as part of the listed building application process, which was ultimately approved — a testament to the collaborative effort and sensitive approach taken throughout.

A particular highlight of the project was the restoration of the original windows. These have been brought back to life and now stand as defining features within the property, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and historical significance.

This project reflects our commitment to design that respects heritage while embracing progress — ensuring that these remarkable buildings continue to serve and inspire for generations to come.
