Transforming a Disused Site into a Modern Business Hub.
We were recently appointed to unlock the potential of a disused, overgrown former car park — reimagining the space as a dynamic hub for modern business use.
The brief from our client was clear: deliver three high-quality light industrial units, each with integrated office space to support flexibility and functionality for a range of business operations.
A key priority in our design approach was minimising the impact on neighbouring properties. To achieve this, we incorporated carefully considered landscaping, including a planted visual and acoustic buffer that provides both privacy and environmental benefits.
Sustainability also played a central role in the project. A prominent Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) feature was integrated into the site layout — enhancing the development’s environmental performance while also contributing to its visual appeal.
Particular attention was paid to the elevation facing the main approach road. Through thoughtful architectural detailing, the new buildings present a cohesive, high-quality frontage that respects and enhances the local context.
