To create a forest school and interactive outdoor learning environment within the grounds of a Primary School in Cwmbran. The school has recently had a modern extension and part of our task was to link those new classrooms with the wider landscape and outdoor space. A major part of this project was to link the school back into its local community, so we created a community café and a parent welcome building at the site entrance, we also introduced a number of items to enhance playtime including interactive woodland walks and exercise paths. We used 3D fly through videos to communicate our ideas to the client.
